Space saving apartment in Hong Kong

Hong Kong architect Gary Chang in the compact apartment he has designed for himself. Described as a 'domestic transformer', the apartment responds to Chang's upbringing in a cramped urban environment, and his desire for space. The design allows for a variety of different spaces to be achieved through moving walls and furniture components, all within the 32m2 apartment. Perhaps a solution that is far more high maintenance and user-intensive than many would consider for themselves, this concept definitely offers an alternative route into the dream of home ownership in a challenging environment.
